I love being able to view a wow tournament in its integrity and the concept of The Named is quite interesting, but we really need a commentator who understands what's happening. There were a few amazing moves in the 3v3s and he didn't catch any (hello there pummeled feldom).

SC2 has some really good units and some poorly designed units. I.e. Terrans Flying Vehicle that drops Sentries ... and Zergs Hatchery looks blocky and chunky as hell not even like alien like ... /sad panda.

WoW is so bad to watch over Starcraft. And this is coming from someone who plays WoW quite frequently(arenas in high brackets/raids tier 6 content). The game is too random, revolves to much around pillar kiting, lucky procs, and group makeups. I've played teams that I've beat 5 times in a row but the 6th time they get lucky procs and my team gets resisted spells and they win. Starcraft is a more refined game, more balanced, and more exciting to watch. Warriors win/lose battles sometimes just based off of lucky mace stuns/imp hamstrings. The commentator did alright for casting such a boring game to watch (aside from the cyclone part :D ).
keep doing this because some people enjoy it, but I can't say I'll watch it as closely as starcraft.

the shaman did all the work in the fights, not the warrior. shocking, dropping windfury WHILE kiting the rogue and staying alive is not an easy feat. Give credits where it's due. The warrior was just doing his job.

It's pretty obvious that David is a player.. he knows alot about the game and is totally saying different things than the Korean announcers... I watched both and David has much more perceptive analysis of the game than the Koreans... it's his first broadcast so give him a break...

Commentator seems like he's translating a lot rather than commenting on what he's seeing. to comment on WoW you really need to be someone who actively PvPs and actually does arena. David misses calls on trinket pops and specific calls on certain classes. (Also missed vanish bugging on the undead rogue in the first game) But perhaps I only notice these things because I play a rogue and such. On the whole I'm glad that they're trying WoW out as well, it's interesting to see Korean players in action. But yes, if David was like Tasteless in that he did actually play and has a long time experince with WoW like Tasteless plays starcraft his commentating would probably be much up to what's expected for the WoW players that are watching this.

I agree the commentator is pretty bad, he doesn't mention the more obvious reasons for the setups he just automatically assumes the viewer knows the game. He also doesnt engage the viewer with his thoughts just says whats going on in game thats readily apparent and even then some of the things he says are just false (such as the cyclones...).

He misses on way too much, not reporting important highlights like Nigh Invul belts being popped, trinkets, vanish... The equipment players are using(rogues in a PvE set etc). Makes this very -not- enjoyable for people that have a clue about Arena PvP on this game.

He also mistook a Sap for Gouge there. Still, it's not like Tasteless has brain farts every now and then and we still love him. I think the commentator knows the game well enough, though he misses obvious statements like that a warrior vs. mage duel is silly.
