The GSL keeps moving forward! New format and ticket system for 2012

We have already shown a glimpse of our new format for the 2012 GSL Series at GSL November. It has become a lot harder to stay in Code S as we want to make sure that our premier league only contains the current best of the best!

The length of the season has also increased with these changes, a regular GSL season now runs for over 2 months and will be held 5 times in 2012. In contrast to what we've shown you in GSL November, all group stage matches will now also be Best of 3 instead of Best of 1. The Team League will finally return in early 2012 with a slightly tweaked format. The GSTL will run for about 3 months and will be held 3 times in 2012. The format will differ from the one used during 2011 GSTL Season 1, details on that will be announced in the near future!

A new, more flexible ticket system!

4 different ticket types: Light, Premium, Premium+ and Premium Subscription

• Light ticket : Similar to the premium service of 2011 – HQ VODs and HQ Live Stream
• Premium ticket : Additional features such as full mobile services, Korean VODs, Dual Streams and more
• Premium+ ticket: Same as above, without ads
• Premium Subscription : Gain access to all SC2 contents for a month, includes access to previous 2012 content
