2013.01.22 Dear GOMTV.net users We would like to announce that our broadcasts will be available on TwitchTV for 2013 GSL Season 1! We apologize for the delay of this announcement and realize that this is big news to come out right before the first broadcast of Code S. Much coordinating and planning was needed to ensure that the broadcast would be problem-free for all fans of GSL. The tickets that will available on TwitchTV will be of the “Light Ticket” grade quality. This ticket will give you a 540p stream quality as well as full access to the VODs for the season (on TwitchTV) that you have purchased. “EHQ” Live Stream and VOD’s will only be available on our website. Please keep in mind that TwitchTV tickets and www.GOMTV.net tickets are separate entities and buying a ticket on one site will not give you access to its contents on the other. - 2013.01.23 Kinda sad but for all Gom's talk of promoting esports, its inability to stream and host content they charge a pretty steep price for then providing non-satisfactory alternatives are going a long way to killing esports, or at least the concept of one great league.

I wish I understood more fully why the lag through gomtv.net is so much worse than on twitch.tv. Paying 30 dollars a month, only to have to watch on twitch.tv because gomtv.net is such a lower framerate,

- 2013.01.23 Well, being unable to deliver at the start and throughout the season are two different things. I wonder, what is going on. Offering the stream on twitch is a nice idea. Well, I'm waiting for my free twitch subscription code now.... It would be time, that it arrives. Paying 30$, cannot watch anything, offering an alternative, oh but wait? paying another 20$...... great... i only say once again: LAST SEASON LAST SEASON..... , btw. ProLeague is only 5$ and the casters there were very bad at the beginning, but well you know what, they rapidly improved and i now even like them very much. I wonder if "TASTOSIS" and "WOLFDOR" are actually okay with what happens to the "FANS", who PAY.

I paid over 100 bucks for a yearly ticket, there is no way I'm going to spend money on Twitch for something I already paid for. If the situation doesn't improve rapidly I will request a PayPal refund and wait for GOMTV to clean up their streaming mess.

- 2013.01.23 As most folks have said, the stream has had it's issues. I know it's in the early days of use and will get better but I would prefer to use twitch now that this is an option. This means I can also watch it on my Android devices and TV. I really think the best action here as long as twitch doesn't charge an arm and a leg is to offer current yearly members a discount to purchase a twitch ticket. I know not everything can be free but if that's possible that would be rad.

I paid $150, and have to watch it on Twitch, because here on GomTV it lags on all quallities. If you don't fix it during this week, I'll ask for my money back.

- 2013.01.22 Appreciate the apology. But is is quite frustrating for me. I paid for my Ticket at GomTV. But the stream was once again today in code S group A, unstable. Unable to watch. And I have to watch it from Twitch, where I can't watch good quality. Have problems even seeing where they send scouts. And I am not going to buy 2 tickets.

- 2013.01.22 I have no problem with this at all... If they can somehow fix the laggieness of the GOMTV.net stream. You would think that this would relieve some stress from the servers so people watching on this site would have a better experience. I subbed to GOM because I always heard about how great the production was... only to be disapointed by the quality of the streams. Please fix this. I love SC2, and I will gladly pay for content... as long as GOMTV can promise to give me quality content.

- 2013.01.22 So, if I understand this correctly the EHQ stream is 720p and a normal payed ticket will get you 540p. Dear GOMTV, we are living in 2013. Dont you think its time for 1080p+??????????? (Although 1-2 years too late already....) I wont pay this ammount of money for a ridiculous low quality stream. EVERY payed stream should be 1080p and there shouldnt even have to be a discussion about that. (Esp since we TOO get the fing commercials EVEN IF we pay)

You HAVE to give your paying customers a voucher/coupon to be able to watch HQ on twitch. Otherwise, you will never ever have these people as your customers again. Thanks,

- 2013.01.22 Hi Gom, I do not think it is fair for your Audiences that after we have paid for HQ or some of us EHQ, and your stream is laggy. Now you require us to pay an extra fee for twitch.tv. Your asking us to pay a "FULL PAYMENT", not like $5 or something else. I understand if your stream was NOT laggy. Then, what you are providing is a completely new way to get your stream. However, that is not the case. In terms of customer service, this really sucks. Please consider how we as your viewers feel we have been cheated. I gave up watching your stream and just watched Twitch.tv in low quality. I am definitely not paying for a "twitch-subscription".

- 2013.01.22 I can only agree wíth people here saying that gomtv.net ticket holders should get the 540p on twitch for free. You say that it would be problem-free for all GSL fans but i see it as a serious problem that i have paid 110$ for the yearly premium plus ticket and now you want me to pay another 20$ to watch my favorite SC2 tournament without lag on twitch... Cant agree that it is problem-free! Hope you will find some way to fix this and do so at least within a couple of weeks.

- 2013.01.22 If I remember correctly someone said the VOD's would be made available on here within 30 minutes of a games completion. How/where is it possible to view them? Current links are simply to the "live" stream, and contain spoilers pretty easily etc.

- 2013.01.22 This is my 2nd yearly ticket but I am really tired from problems. Today I could not watch a single match because of lag and your horrible stream. Please do not sell tickets that you can't provide the quality!!!You are not able to stream on SQ and you are selling HQ and EHQ tickets... horrible!!! disaster!!! stream skipping from 1 match to another and lagging continuously. You have to compensate that suffer. (I have 50mbit internet and able to watch 2 1080p stream same time also stream better then gsl!!!)
