We have received many inquiries from our users about the slow-loading VODs that they are experiencing. We would now like to take this time to explain the current situation, in detail, to help you understand what is going on.

Since the beginning of last October, we received multiple e-mails from our users informing us of VOD-related issues. Due to the e-mails, we began checking our systems and could not find any discrepancies within them.

It was after this moment that our ISP contacted us and told us that there was a problem with their system’s backbone which interrupted our connectivity. They assured us that they had fixed the problem and that there would be no more issues with our services. However, this report came to us after the influx of e-mails we received which is the reason why we were unable to give an official report on why our services had slowed down. Please be assured that in the future, if our users once again report that our services are slower than usual, we will resolve the issues quickly so that you can watch the GSL and GSTL seamlessly.

On October 29th, after we had gotten the servers back to its normal status, Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast of the United States where our servers are located. Because of this natural disaster, Our VOD service was switched to our backup servers which is when our users, once again, begin to experience slow-loading VODs. We saw our normal servers on the East Coast come back after recovering from Hurricane Sandy and we waited until the connection became stable before we returned to our Live stream on November 9th, which is why the stream on alternate platforms were no longer continued. After seeing that the stream was stable, we decided to move our VOD service back to our normal servers on November 13.

Unfortunately, the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy caused many power outages in the region it visited and the VOD switch overloaded the server. As our regular servers are down again, we have switched our VOD service back to our backup systems and the Live stream for today will be broadcasted from external platforms.

These unforeseen circumstances happened in succession and because of this, we thank all our fans that have stuck with us for so long, good times and bad. We are working to make a full service recovery as soon as our regular servers are back up so please bear with us as we have some new exciting features ready for you soon!

Unfortunately, our main servers are still unstable due to the power outages going on in the location where they are located. We once again apologize for this long delay in normal services and promise you that we are doing our best to fix this situation. We have some compensation planned for our users so please check back here for more updates in the future.
