Really did not think GomTV would stoop this low. league of legends is a horrible spectator esports game and we really dont need another place to watch shit like this, there is a kabillion lol streams and vod databases. Just because a company monopolizes a market does not mean that market is good.

One lol vod leads to it taking over for sc2, simply because its bigger and propably will get more viewers on gomtv. so farewell sc2

sad shit

To those who cry no LoL or else I cancel membership. They are not going to change just for you. Your cancellation will be negated by the people who subscribe to watch LoL content in the future.

Sigh, its amazing how dumb the community is. Like Tasteless said, comparing LoL and Sc2 is like trying to compare Golf and Tennis. They are two different games, with two different styles. Myself, I love both of these games. I wouldn't put one over the other. LoL will not threaten Sc2 because LoL isn't like Sc2. I am extremely happy GomTv is looking into LoL content. With Tasteless learning the game and Andy learning to cast, sure it may seem a little bumpy at times. But who hasn't laughed at Tasteless trying to say Anivia and Irelia :P Doesnt help Andy's cause he's been ill and coughing the past couple casts but props to him for doing it anyway. And to those who say wtf LoL is boring to watch or I can't understand it, you are not giving it a chance. You didn't instantly understand Sc2 when you first watched it. But in time you learn of its beauty and strats. Now if you get your head out of your ass with all this save HOTS bullshit and Sc2 is dead. You'll realize LoL is not a threat and they can be separate esports and run alongside eachother with no harm to either game.....

Dear GOM, I've been a faithful subscriber since SC2 v1.0 (autumn 2010), but if you continue to support MOBA / LoL events, and include LoL into the subscription plan, my subscription will be cancelled very soon.
LoL represents a casualization and devolution of the eSports concept, and it is the absolutely opposite of what I wanted to support by subscribing to GOM.
I realize these are hard times, but you can't have your cake and eat it too.
Choose your side now and choose it wisely.

If you don't like LoL fine.  Don't watch it.  As a person who owns tickets to the Tampa Bay Lightning, I never threatened to cancel my membership because they gave me free Storm tickets.  I don't like arena football and never really cared to support it, but I just chose not to go to the game.

If GOM actually chooses to expand to a new market, I support their decision.  If there are some casulties along the way, I guess that's how it has to be.  I enjoy SC2 and GOM's allowed me to watch some amazing games.  I'll continue to support them.  If you would rather act childish and cancel your subscription because they wish to offer new content to a different audience, that's up to you.

Don't see why all the haters gotta flame LoL. StarCraft 2 aint going anywhere and LoL is being showed for free. LoL is the most popular MOBA game and a great one too for that matter. So for those wants to see SC2 you go ahead and do just that and for those who want to watch either just LoL or both go ahead and do just that. It's that easy.

Enjoy the generoustiy of GomTV or don't.

This thread makes me ashamed to be lumped in as part of this "community". Sc2 is not dead, and everyone just bitching endlessly about everything just makes it worse, not better. No matter what I see GOM do it's just bitching and whining. Cut the shit.

It also states that it's the Korean qualifiers for IPL. IPL and GOMtv have a partnership like MLG and Kespa. This will only benifit both companies and give the viewers more content.

People make me sick.

Thank you for hosting this GOM, I look forward to watching. SC2 and LoL fans being at war is petty and ridiculous.

i like how this qualifer has high quality 720p while the epic gsl finals only had shitty 540p sub-HD. dont really care what the reason or circumstances are, its just pathetic.

also im kind of dissappointed with tasteless doing this, but cant really blame him for wanting to earn more money.

wow, can't you follow two games at once? It's really not that hard. I'm just wondering if any of the english gom casters are well versed enough to cast a LoL game. I don't think it's gonna happen, but I hope it happens soon.

I really dislike the fact that LoL is being broadcasted on starcrafts Number one broadcast website. Let them do their own thing don't include them in what is the Best Starcraft league in the world and it's website!

cool to see. i love sc, but i also enjoy league a lot. i do not hope that league will take over at gom.

i guess that is an arbitrary fear... just look at the popularity of gsl, the casters (english and korean) and what sc has done for gom.

also i'm excited to see what ab bring to the table after not qualifying for the world championships...

gogo esports!
