2012.09.14 Dear GOMTV.net users, This season is already one of the best we have ever had and it is not even close to being over! While the brawl continues in Code S to win a GSL title, future champions are ready to reach the next step in Code A. KeSPA players, ESF players, and teamless players have now been placed into the brackets and are ready to show us their worth. Who will be a rising champion and who will be knocked back down to the qualifiers? Here are the brackets! Code A Format: [All matches are Bo3] Ro48: 40 players who qualified for Code A + 8 players who dropped down from Code S Ro32. Regular tournament mode, 24 players advance to Code A Ro32, 24 players are eliminated from Code A and have to requalify next season. Ro32: 24 players from Code A Ro48 + 8 players from Code S Ro32 (3rd place). Winners advance to Ro24, losers drop to Up&Down. Ro24: 16 players from Code A Ro32 + 8 players from Code S Ro16 (3rd+4th place). Winners advance to Code S next Season. Loser drops to Up&Down. Code A finishes with the Ro24, further rounds are not played out. Good luck to all these players and look forward to some amazing matches! Thank you. GOMTV.net

They are matches that are not shown in the Korean broadcast due to production and time constraints. A mimimal-production stream is made available exclusively for the global audience (premium ticket or subscription required for live access, VODs available to all ticket holders and subscribers). This was already "addressed" five months ago when the current Code A broadcast format was first used in 2012 GSL Season 2 (in Season 1, the secondary stream's matches ran simuaneously with the main broadcast as the "dual streams" premium feature). As the live streams of the 20 Code A "premium" matches per year are likely the largest incentive for getting a Premium season ticket over a Light ticket for many people, it's a good bet that nothing will be "fixed" until GOM rolls out the GSL schedule and ticket plans for 2013.

- 2012.09.14 ZeNEX_Sparta is StarTale_Sparta now. And yes, the barcode one is teamless Sleep. This should be fixed. NaNiWa potentially meeting Flash in the second round, and Mana potentially meeting EffOrt, this should be interesting. This season of GSL is insane. :)
