2012.08.21 I've been a subscriber since day 1 of the Open Season 1 way back in 2010. I've never been able to watch the HQ stream live because of the terrible connection to Australia. But thats fine, the SQ stream plus VOD's are still worth it.
But this past couple of weeks not only can i not watch the SQ stream live but the SQ free stream is even laggy.
I'm so sick of this terrible service to Australia that i cancelled my subscription and will never return. 2 Years and things have only gotten worse, not better.
p.s. I have an 8mbps connection. I get a ~6mbps connection to Seoul and a ~4mbps connection to America. |

- 2012.08.27 Hi Sin15ter, I had similar problems to you throughout the first half of this year, you can see my post about it on these forums. GOMTV.net didn't really take much notice, however, I found another similar post that pointed me to a thread at Whirlpool. Long story short, the problem turned out to be with my ISP and after a couple of months and a few messages back and forth, they fixed it! I've been able to watch WCS games live in HQ with no buffering. I'm with iiNet in Melbourne on ADSL2+. Anyway, my advice is it's probably worth contacting your ISP directly or by posting on Whirlpool to see if they can do anything about it. Hope that helps! |

- 2012.08.22 I live in Japan and I can confirm the connection speeds recently have plummeted, I have to leave the vod on pause for a long time while they buffer.
This service was perfect until about 2-3 weeks ago. |
