- 2012.08.16 Finally got a reply from GOMTV Support, after five days. Dear user, We would like to apologize for the late response. Unfortunately, 2012 WCS Korea Nationals Season ticket discount coupon was expired on August 9th(KST). In order to not confuse customers we have tried to make the deadline as transparent as possible and have mentioned it on our announcement. So that is that. So rather than get something, they will get nothing. I'll just watch them after they're free (7 day delay). I guess I should be happy they're doing that but I don't feel happy.

Oh and to answer the troll's question, since I know he'll just post to bash me again, I just got back from vacation to find out about this WCS stuff and the discount. I didn't realize there was an expiration date (even though now i can see it is in bold in the post). I mulled it over for a day and decided to go ahead and do it on Aug 9th and found out it was expired. You can imagine my frustration at that point. So there you go. I'm delighted that you called me troll, made my day.

- 2012.08.12 Yea.. vacation. Back tonight, missed my coupon? That was quick! What a bummer. Oh well, I'm sure I can find something else to do but... Why is there an expiration date again? I've spent almost $300 on various tickets and subscriptions (I know right, now that I've calculated it out I feel like a tool) the least you could do is keep these coupons redeemable until the season is over. This doesn't seem like a big deal but for some reason it just ticks me off, you won't get another crumb from me.

Sure, gom didn't show the "How to apply your coupon" thing from the very beginning, however, they did link where you could get access to the WCS ticket (which was there since day 1), very explicitly. Then come the people who feel entitled to more, those people are all the more hilarious.

Thanks for purchasing the GSL Yearly Ticket, we appreciate the support and therefore issued a coupon that will allow you to get the WCS ticket for only 4.99$ (or even free if you have both yearly tickets). WCS ist not GSL and is therefore not included in the GSL season or yearly ticket. 2012 will have 5 GSLs, as was announced when we began selling the yearly tickets, that information can also be found on our ticket guide page: http://www.gomtv.net/ticket/ticketGuide.gom The number of possible sets for GSL is almost double compared to 2011. Our original plan was to start GSL Season 4 in August, but because of WCS the start of the new season will be delayed by 3 weeks. That means that the upcoming GSL schedule will be all the more packed with amazing games. The number of matches will definitely not be reduced or anything like that, so you're getting your ticket's worth, no worries!
