First of all, let me say that I'm a huge GSL fan. I've had an active subscription to everything they've done since Open Season 2 in 2010. I'm obsessive about it... I've watched every match, every game, code A, ups and downs, GSTL, offline events, and even every episode of Off The Record. Every morning, one of the first things I check every day are the VODs, if they are up. Even though you could buy tickets to each event for a good bit less than $35/month, I still subscribed to the Premium Plus Monthly subscription just to show my support.

So imagine my surprise to find myself at a situation of anger and frustration with GOMTV over a very simple matter that under any circumstances I'd expect to be resolved easily. Two facts that other GSL fans should be aware of, for the sake of caution:

FIRST. There's a bug in their ticketing system that can cause you to be over-charged. I was charged three times for this month's subscription, for a total of $105 -- $70 extra dollars taken from me. GOMTV admitted that their system had triple-charged me.

SECOND. Good luck getting a refund. After two weeks of waiting I have not received a refund. I have not received any word on when I should expect a refund. Their first email where they admitted their system triple-charged me included a promise of a "prompt refund". However, their subsequent emails have just said that they are "too busy" to do the refund and I should just keep waiting.

I'm really disappointed that as much as I love GOMTV I must now file PayPal disputes and write a whiny post about it. I have no doubt that EVENTUALLY I'll get my money back, but (aside from venting my frustrations) I thought other customers would like to beware.
