2012.07.10 Dear GOMTV.net users, We are happy to announce that GOMTV will be hosting and broadcasting Blizzard Entertainment's StarCraft II World Championship Series (WCS) Korea Nationals. The WCS Korea Nationals will be held over a period of 3 weeks from August 6th until August 25th. The event will be broadcasted live in Korean for the local audience and in English for the international audience by GOMTV. Details: - Tournament period: 2012/08/06 - 2012/08/25 - Total participants: 32 players * 10 Players: Ranks 1-10 of the 2012 GSL Point Ranking (Including Season 3, which is still in progress) * 6 Players: KeSPA recommended seeds * 16 Players: Determined via offline preliminaries on July 22nd-23rd - Total prize money: 30,000,000 KRW Schedule:  GSL Point Ranking (as of 2012/07/10): Season 3 is still in progress, players still competing in Season 3 are marked in red. Since I don't have editor status on LP yet, any update s I make have to be "checked" by an editor before the public can see them. This means that newly-earned points might not show up there for a day or two. (Currently, the list there doesn't include any of this week's Code A/S results.) Usually, this isn't such a big deal, but with WCS Korea making the ranking list more relevant at this time, I copied the table over to my userspace, where edits are applied instantly (so any lag in update s is totally in my control). |

I remember blizzard had guidelines as to how WCS tournaments needed to be run, but i do not remember the specifics. (ie: are you allowed to charge others to watch wcs) |
