mvp just school'd his bracket. day 1 mlg. also making select look like a bronze noob. with his superior micro, timings and builds. (btw.. i swear this is how good mvp played back in GSL Jan but he seems to perform poorer against other koreans in recent gsls)

Quote : who cares mvp at mlg this weekend !

I hope he does well. Despite his apparent slump recently he's still one of my favourite Terrans to watch and I hope he can start winning a lot of tournaments soon:)

Quote : First of all, losing a match (and that includes a bo3) doesn't mean that you are worst than someone, there are many factors to take into consideration (e.g. MMA defeated DRG at the third GSTL finals and people claimed he was better than DRG, then DRG defeated him on this GSTL and the countrary occured...).
Secondly, his wrist being bad or not were not the issue, as he lost strategy-wise, not micro-wise.

Quote : I've heard it has sh to do with his confidence but srsly where is this info about confidence from? Did mvp say so himself in an interview or is it jsut a theory?

MVp never did any interview.

MVP is like LeBron James, he chokes when it's the 4th period. (in this case, the 4th set).

Quote : And as far as I know, Mvp wasn't prepared for qxc at all. You can totally tell in the vods when he at the team seating with the rest of IM, he just wasn' himself. He's not confident in controlling his 'second nature' while televised, which is causing to make ridiculous decisions, decisions he doesn't normally make, decisions he's not comfortable internally to keep playing the game, not just a little slip-up so that he could still fend off the cloaked banshee/hellion rush. People think this isn't a big deal, but listen to me guys Mvp was in no shape to win that game at all , especially when all the pressure was on him to beat 4 people, 4 foreigners looking to win their first GSTL match. he was given no second thought by his coach also.

Mvp's mental game...no, I mean personality to have confidence in himself, the confidence to make the play he would want to pull off with no crazy complication, the confidence to deal with his self-inducing  pressure state-of-mind...where is the Mvp I knew back when he was in Code S, when he steamrolled his way into a LG 3D World Tourney, when his confidence couldn't be stopped. I thought when he got dropped to Code A and then graciously coming back to Code S...I thought he was going to dominate. I really thought he was, but I'm thinking his confidence of playing where the win really matters (the GSL/GSTL) is a feels a little bit tight, perhaps a 'shattered realm'.

What the hell is going in his consciousness to win, to believe in his strats, to become the best terran other than the ladder, but in the GSL/GSTL and in the world, what has happened to our Mvp?

With this type of ability to crystalize your thoughts you should perhaps consider a career in sports psychology!  Just kidding!

He lost because he didn't prepare for something he should have prepared for.

I think he has an injury to his wrist... if you look at him vs qxc, after the match, the camera showed a glimpse of his wrist, and its in a cast or something.
