- 2011.05.30 You cant count on those statistics.. ~70% winrate sounds like a lot but when its based on less than 20 games than you cant count on that. Besides this is the GSL, here games are won mostly due to skill rather than race OPness. For instance, does it mean toss is underpowered because a terran like MVP beats toss players? Isnt it possible it is because MVP is just very good? Obviously the later statement is correct. On bnet in general toss has been the superior race. It is also the most popular race. Now that is more telling than GSL statistics thats based on just a few games. People, how the hell can you sit there and say that terran is OP because they have a counter unit to every single toss unit? So does toss! Every race can counter every race, obviously. And how the hell can you actually with a straight face sit there and say that Bomber won because terran is OP? Anyone with a slight understanding of RTS and SC2 must find that statement absurd. It is obvious Bomber is a very skilled player and SangHo made some MAJOR mistakes in those games. It seems to me most people complaining about OPness are lower level players with very biased opinions who dont really understand the game to begin with. Go and do your homework. |
