‘GOMTV Streamer‘, which is installed to provide you with more stabilized services from GOMtv.net, is a Plug-in program of GOM Player and when installed allows you to view the Live Stream Broadcast more stably.
'GOMTV Streamer‘, activated for the Live Stream Broadcast, applies the Grid Delivery technology which restrictively utilizes the spare resources, that are not in use on the User’s PC to transmit data to another User.
The specific details are as followed.
 
1) 'GOMTV Streamer‘ basically utilizes parts of the hard disk or the memory of the User’s PC in order for you to watch smoothly and stably through the GOM Player. The actual amount of hard disk or memory utilized may vary depending on the performance of the User’s PC.

2) 'GOMTV Streamer‘ limits the applied range of the Grid Delivery technology to those who are viewing the identical Stream at the same time slot. Caching and transmitted data is also limited to the Stream currently being viewed. It does not Cache or store data for viewers of other streams and does not randomly store or transmit other additional data.

3) 'GOMTV Streamer‘, when turned off, deletes all the existing data it utilized from the hard disk and memory and returns all the resources that has been used from the User’s PC. If it could not originally clear the related data, due to the PC being turned off in an unusual manner, it deletes the data and returns the resources the next time the PC is turned on. (Return is complete within maximum 3 minutes from when it is turned off.)

4) 'GOMTV Streamer‘ transfers at a faster rate as the number of Live Stream viewers increase, assuring you with more stabilized usage of the stream.

5) The User can always remove ‘GOMTV Streamer’ by using the Program ‘Add or Remove Programs’ tab in the Control Panel.

If GOMTV Streamer has not been installed in your system and you try to use specific contents which require GOMTV Streamer, a notification of GOMTV Streamer installation will automatically appear. In order to install GOMTV Streamer, please follow process prompted by the notification.

If a new version is found, a notification for update will appear. Please follow the steps prompted by the notification.
 
1. Installation of the latest GOM Player

     Go to download page of www.gomlab.com

1) When you see the following image, click the ‘Download Now’ button.

2)  If message dialog appears, click ‘Run’ button. Once downloading is complete, there will be another message dialog which asks about installation.

Again, please click the ‘Run’ button.

3) Installation of the latest GOM Player will proceed.

2. Guide to install GOMTV Streamer

1)  If you are required to install GOMTV Streamer, an installer notification will appear. Please read it carefully and click ‘Yes’ if you want to install GOMTV Streamer.

2) After downloading the installer, installation will start. Read EULA of GOMTV Streamer and click ‘I Agree’ to install it.

 3) Once the installation is complete, video will start.
