I have a total deja vu with this series. first the failed drop on garden of god and than the backdoor trick with 3 zerglings passing through on Ridge. I feel like seeing this all the time

we know archons can kill lurkers with splash dmg, thats how you do it if you dont have an observer.

NO dmg to BURROWED units under swarm from ANY type of range (splash or normal)as for the math of archons vs lings underswarm for example, in game testing is much more efficient than some mathematical equation.

I don't know about #4 but #5 is not true at all. You see lurkers pop under swarm all the time to repeated tankfire.

1. july used the gas canceling trick to make 1 more drone, so the drone count at base was still 9.
2. kal did not spot july's drone mining the backdoor mineral
3. archon's splash dmg = 50% when closer, and 25% when bit further.
4. under swarm, archon and siege tank can deal splash damage + REDUCED REAL DAMAGE on their own. eg. archon does about 30 dmg to ling outside swarm, when inside swarm with just 1 archon + 1 ling, archon does about 7 dmg by ITSELF; so this isn't splash damage (siege tanks will also deal reduced damages like archon).
5. archon and siege tank however; CAN NOT deal ANY damage to burrowed units. no splash and no real dmg.

that's all the came to my mind right now.

Archon splash is like 25% the original damage, so it isn't that huge under dark swarm (don't quote me on that, but I'm quite sure that it isn't anywhere near 50%)

Gr8 game!!Kal was constantly on the move, trying to make an impression of being in control and posing a threat, but he wasn't really hurting July, which cost him the game imho;). btw What's up with "Valor"?? i was watching that like 3ish days ago, and no prob. NOW however, a window pops up telling me i'm not PREMIUM? smdy? plz;)

Simply no. Splash damage does a %age of the regular dmg. So it is not that same. So their dmg is doing about half or less dmg under a swarm.

What he means is that the Archon's attack on its target is nullified under Dark Swarm, but the subsequent splash damage from said attack still occurs normally.

he said ARchons only do splash under darkswarm? but isnt their splash the same?

awesome game, i can't believe july just threw away game 1, this one was way better. game 3 is gonna be good

How the heck did they even think Goojila had the chance to win at all after his main got raped? He traded all his tech for a few units, and was pretty much running one base while July got ultra/crack/defiler, which pretty much steamrolls anything toss can make unless they have a superior economy.

SDM said "Kal is probably thinking that there's one drone missing." There wasn't...July did the extractor trick. How clever ;)
