Does anyone else think that Baby's play is not "very safe" as Tasteless/SDM often point-out, but in fact quite the opposite? His wraith build was incredibly risky, and he characteristically moves out into the map with less than the needed units. He may have even lost Game 2 because he tried to expand AND push at the same time. His games are so exciting because of the big chances he takes and his excellent execution, IMO. Calling him cautious for putting up bunkers is silly; he should be called 'smart,' while every other Terran who loses to an early rush for refusing to build a bunker is 'stupid.'

I'm glad that he'll be advancing, I think there's a good chance we'll see him in the Ro4, and hopefully the finals.

I don't think it is that Baby has a problem with idled SCVs, but that he chose rather to commit the majority of his apm into managing his army.

Against lurker/lings, the amount of damage that your army takes depends on very precisely micro'ing in and out of lurker range and then clearing out leftover zerglings. I think Baby decided that letting his SCVs idle was a worthwhile sacrifice to keeping map control and the majority of his army intact.

missed the drop in zerg's main when zerged attacked the natural. so baby harassed 2 of zerg's base (main and top expo), while modesty only harassed 1. that what kept him in the game.

seriously what's wrong with Tasteless (& sdm maybe), you guys way missing a lot of stuff that happen on the match compare to season 1/2, you're getting worse ffs, pick the right time when you want to do that random chat!

Holy shit, I was just about to type something about being disappointed that Baby wasn't going to move on in the tourney until he pulled off that drop that killed the hydra den and the defiler pool. That was absolutely brilliant attack!

flash is still the best Terran around, but baby is so fun to watch! Every game in this season he has played has been awesome, with crazy strategies and great micro. looking forward to seeing his next matchup

it was modesty's own fold. He had 7 defilers and not enough attacking units. When he lost the hydralisk den AND the defiler mount, 3 hydras where just watching.

I almost always want Terran to lose to Zerg but I was totally rooting for Baby. If he could just fix his idle SCV problem he'd be able to get even bigger armies and completely overrun his opponents.
