Averatec-Intel Classic 2008 Season 1
GOM TV presents another StarCraft league following its own GomTV Star Invitational.
Averatec-Intel Classic 2008 Season 1 will run for 19 weeks from April 6th, 2008.
Unlike most of the other StarCraft leagues, there will be no preliminary matches, all matches are considered as a part of the knockout tournament.
Just like GomTV Star Invitational which was enjoyed by people from 180 countries, Averatec-Intel Classic 2008 will be also broadcast live in English.

Valkyries are VERY cost effective. Just a handful of them nullifies mutalisks, corsairs barely scratches them due to base armor 2+3 (and life 250...). But I don't understand not why valkyries are not used, but the protoss scout + shield battery! HP, armor and speed, not to mention that completely ravages capital ships; adequate also for ground raids on light/medium defended bases... My 0.2.

Valks are only good in big groups and they are better against big groups because their rockets hit a huge aoe. 1 muta>1valk 100muta<100valk

Valkyries do 6 dmg per rocket. it fires a salvo of 8 at one time. so we have carriers with up to 7 armor (maxed upgrades), valkys are near useless. There are many counters to guards and mutas that are better than valks.
