Averatec-Intel Classic 2008 Season 1
GOM TV presents another StarCraft league following its own GomTV Star Invitational.
Averatec-Intel Classic 2008 Season 1 will run for 19 weeks from April 6th, 2008.
Unlike most of the other StarCraft leagues, there will be no preliminary matches, all matches are considered as a part of the knockout tournament.
Just like GomTV Star Invitational which was enjoyed by people from 180 countries, Averatec-Intel Classic 2008 will be also broadcast live in English.

Just when you think the ownage of Jaedong takes a rest, another army of Lomo get slaughered, and another perfect ling surround with dark swarm and lurkers, and even more science vessels getting scourged. I didn't notice the upgrades, and yes upgrades are critical, but it's still amazing that Lomo wasn't able to cause more damage/press his advantage/basically exploit the sunken break. Perhaps the cross map made it to difficult to reinforce? In any case, amazing game!

Lomo's one HUGE mistake was not killing any buildings at the start...he started on the hatchery, then went for the pool...he should've stuck to the hatch, or gone for the pool at the start. -___-;;

Dark swarm didn't win the game, Jaedong is just a really good Zerg player. Terran have Sci Vessel to counter Defiler, but Jaedong was smart to kill them off and Lomo let them die too easy. Also, if you watch Flash or another good Terran vs Zerg, they don't lose their vessels so easily and back up from the dark swarm when possible. I didn't see Lomo back off the swarm at all.
As a Terran you shouldn't let Zerg get to the point where he's casting dark swarm on your base. Defiler's are easy to kill, Jaedong just has a good army composition, with good micro. And like someone else said, Jaedong was forcing Lomo to multitask so he'd be sloppy with his micro (losing vessels).

Jesus this game is amazing. There's absolutely no doubt JD is the best zerg right now. This has been the most entertaining game of the entire tournament for me, and I thank everyone involved, especially Tasteless. Love ya man.

Tasteless. Jaedong only had 1 sunken because Lomo look like he was going mech. Outisde of lomo's base there was few marines. Lomo is known for often doing mech builds. Hydras was to stop any vulture runby.

very intense game, but I can't help feeling that it would have been more epic if Lomo played his race to full potential. After that start, he should have had a much better control of the game. It would have been nice to see what a true vZ monster like FBH could have done in that situation. JD's skill goes without saying :D

LOMO's SciV and M&M control needs some serious work. Jaedong clearly knowing this knew not to GG to early. LOMO really creative but just doesnt have the killing power to take out a top tier player.
