- Today and tomorrow we will have the preliminary rounds for Season 3. Group A just started their first matches. oGsMC, oGsNaDa, oGsEnsnare, STHopeTorture, LiquidJinro, LiquidHydrO are the main players of the group. 8 players will qualify from group A.

- oGsEnsnare lost to his teammate oGsHerO and could not qualify three times in a row. oGsNaDa, STHopeTorture, LiquidJinro, LiquidHayprO are all one win away from advancing into GSL Season 3.

- Now the Group B players are entering while the group A players are playing their final matches. oGsZenio, oGsInCa, TSLClide are in Group B.

- The first qualifier for GSL Season 3 from Group A is oGsMC as he defeats a Terran Player 2:1.

- LiberoPrime and Syj(Jun, Yong-Soo) follows oGsMC and makes it to the main tournament. Now 3 out of 8 players are determined from Group A.

- Season 1 runner-up ST_HopeTorture qualifies into Ro64 for the third time in a row and now there is 4 spots left for Group A.

- LiquidHayprO becomes the first foreigner to qualify into Ro64. Also sCKaL(Kim, Seung-Chul) defeats a protoss player 2:0 to qualify. oGsNaDa suprisingly lose to 몽몽귀(Lee, Jung-Soo) and is now out of the tournament.

- LiquidJinro is the last player for Group A to advance into Ro64. Group B players oGsHyperdub, oGsInCa, oGsZenio and Moon now only need one more win to be in Ro64.

- Group C is entering now and the big name players for Group C are HongUnPrime, AugustWeRRa and Terious. cOreZenith is the first player out of Group B to advance into Ro64.

- oGsZenio, Sleep(Kim, Sung-Han), and Moon are the next three players to qualify into Ro64 in Group B. In Group A a lot of Terran made it through but in Group B Zerg players are doing well.

- oGsInCa is out of the tournament losing to Sleep in the final match of the preliminaries 1:2. TSL_GuineaPig advances and makes it into Ro64 for the first time.

- anyproPrime and TSL_Clide is the next two players to qualify from Group B both defeating their opponents 2:1. Only one spot is left for Group B.

- oGsHyperdub is the last player from Group B to make it into Ro64. PoltPrime, NSPJoon(Lee, Joon), MakaPrime and NEXChoa are the first four players in Group C to advance into Ro64.

- HongUnPrime, cyrano(Kim, Yong-Jin) and DreamizEr(Lee, Sang-Yong) are the next three players from Group C to qualify into Ro64. The losing players look very disapointed heading home with their heads down.

- After a very competitive match annyungPrime(Moon, Hak-Sun) wins over EGiNcontrol 2:1 to be the last player of Group C to qualify into Ro64. Final Group of today Group D is currently playing. TorcH and Artosis has one win to go. 10 Terran, 7 Protoss and 7 Zerg are currently qualified.

- gumiho(Go, Byung-Jae) becomes the first random player ever to qualify into Ro64. Also JunwiPrime and ST_무작위왕(Shin, Jung-Min) qualifies from Group D. Artosis, Torch and KiWiKaKi loses in the Semifinal rounds of the preliminaries.

- NEXDrug(Gwun, Jin-Young), oGsTheWind and Leenock is now in Ro64. Zerg are doing very well in Group D. Now there are more Zerg players than Terran in Ro64.

- NEXON(Kim, Young-Il) and TheBestfOu(Kim, Chan-Min) are the final qualifiers for today. This wraps up our first day of the preliminaries.
